Vaughn is a down-and-out alcoholic physician who jumps on a chance to revive his troubled career: he becomes the medical provider for an isolated outpost on a barren, ice-covered moon.

When a mysterious rash spreads through his patients, Vaugn must earn their trust – and conquer his own self-destructive demons – to save them all from the overpowering hysteria that threatens to consume the outpost.
